The personal information we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us. It may include:

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.
Information automatically collected
In Short: Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your identity by itself (like your name) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, country, and information about how and when you use our Services. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services (including by our website host).
The information collected automatically may include:
- Log and usage data. Diagnostic, usage, and performance information our host may record when you access the Services, such as IP address, device information, browser type, and pages viewed.
- Device data. Information about the computer, phone, tablet, or other device you use to access the Services.
This Site does not run Google Analytics, ad pixels, or a tag manager. We do load web fonts from Google Fonts. The homepage includes a temporary chat widget operated by LeadConnector / HighLevel, which may collect the messages and contact details you enter there, plus technical data needed to run the widget.
2. How do we process your information?
In Short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law.
We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:
- To respond to inquiries and offer support. We process your information to answer website, phone, email, and chat contacts about residential painting and estimates.
- To deliver Services you request. We process your information to schedule visits, prepare estimates, and perform residential painting work you ask us to quote or complete.
- To send administrative information. We may process your information to send details about an estimate request, a scheduled visit, or changes to our terms and policies.
- To protect our Services. We may process your information as part of efforts to keep the Services safe and secure.
- To comply with our legal obligations. We may process your information to comply with law, respond to legal requests, and exercise, establish, or defend legal rights.
We do not use this Site to run targeted advertising, affiliate marketing, user accounts, or online checkout.
3. What legal bases do we rely on to process your personal information?
In Short: We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason to do so under applicable law.
We process personal information when we have a valid reason to do so, including: with your consent; to take steps at your request before entering a contract (such as a painting estimate) or to perform a contract; to comply with law; and to pursue legitimate interests that do not override your rights — for example, operating the website, responding to inquiries, and keeping the Services secure.
If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already occurred, or processing that relies on another lawful ground.
4. When and with whom do we share your personal information?
In Short: We may share information in the situations described in this section and with the service providers who help us operate the Services.
We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf and need access to that information to do that work. The categories of third parties we may share personal information with are:
- Website hosting service providers
- Communication and customer-inquiry tools (including the homepage HighLevel / LeadConnector chat widget)
- Cloud computing and data storage service providers those tools use
We do not share personal information with ad networks, affiliate marketing programs, payment processors, or analytics products on this Site, because this Site does not use those products.
We may also share personal information in these situations:
- Business transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with applicable law, a legal process, or a government request, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
5. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?
In Short: We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies needed to run the website and the homepage chat widget.
We may use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to operate the Site. This Site does not have a separate cookie banner or cookie notice page, and it does not run advertising or analytics tags.
Cookies or similar technologies may be used by:
- Our website host, to deliver and secure the Site
- Google Fonts, to serve the typefaces used on the Site
- The homepage HighLevel / LeadConnector chat widget, to load the widget and remember a chat session
Most web browsers accept cookies by default. You can usually set your browser to remove or reject cookies. If you reject cookies, some features — including the chat widget — may not work as expected.
6. How long do we keep your information?
In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law.
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). Estimate and job-related records may be kept for as long as needed to provide the Services and meet those requirements.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if that is not possible (for example, because it is stored in backup archives), we will securely store it and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.
7. How do we keep your information safe?
In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through organizational and technical security measures.
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the personal information we process. Despite those safeguards, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
8. Do we collect information from minors?
In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18. If we learn that personal information from a child under 18 has been collected, we will take reasonable measures to delete it. If you become aware of any such data, please contact us at hello@redbirdpainting.com or 678-341-5795.
9. What are your privacy rights?
In Short: Depending on where you live, you may have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information.
Applicable privacy law may give you the right to request access to and a copy of your personal information, to request correction or deletion, to restrict processing, and — in some cases — to data portability or to object to processing. You can make such a request by contacting us using the details in “How can you contact us about this notice?” below. We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable law.
Withdrawing your consent: If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
Opting out of marketing communications: If we send you marketing emails or texts, you may unsubscribe by using the unsubscribe link in an email, replying STOP to a text, or contacting us. We may still send non-marketing messages needed to respond to an estimate or job.
This Site does not provide user accounts, so there is no account login where you can edit a profile.
10. Controls for Do-Not-Track features
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) setting you can activate to signal that you do not want data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform standard for recognizing DNT signals has been finalized. We do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will update this notice.
